KRK ISLAND, PUNAT - Stone house with a large garden
It consists of a ground floor, 1st floor and 2nd floor. On the ground floor is an apartment of 120 m2, with 3 bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, lobby with laundry room. On the 1st floor there is one one-room apartment with its own bathroom and a room with a bathroom, and two terraces. On the 2nd floor, there is also one one-room apartment with its own bathroom and a room with a bathroom. The interior of the property is particularly well maintained and fully equipped with the necessary technical devices and furniture. The house is on an extremely nicely decorated and well-maintained garden of approx. 1000 m2, where there is a summer kitchen with a barbecue and two open terraces for socializing and relaxing. There are also 5 large parking spaces, which can fit a dozen cars if necessary. The house was completely renovated in 2013, while the last renovation was in 2015. There are solar collectors for water heating on the roof. In addition to the above, it should be noted that the house has a beautiful view of this seaside place. Suitable for living as well as investment for tourist rental. PUNAT, located on the eastern coast of the Puntar estuary, more than three kilometers long and almost two kilometers wide, is considered one of the younger settlements in Krk. However, such an opinion is linked to the fact that the events of this region only began to be more systematically monitored and recorded about a hundred years ago. It used to belong to the city of Krk, and the Vrbnica area extended almost to Punt itself. There are traces of settlement from prehistory, through the Illyrians, to the Greeks and Romans. According to legend, during Roman times there was a bridge across the narrow entrance to Puntarska draga towards the city of Krk. Allegedly, according to various records, the inhabitants of the area of Punt were settled by the princes of Krčki, in order to protect the approach to the bridge and Puntarska Draga. Today, Punat is one of the largest Croatian nautical centers and the center of olive growing on the island. It is unthinkable to talk about Punt and not mention the islet of Košljun at the same time. Because Punat and Košljun have been directed towards each other for centuries, the life of the friars - Franciscans and Puntars is permeated with each other. Therefore, every visitor must want to visit Košljun, which is made possible by the barcajoli that regularly maintain a 10-minute ride from Punt to Košljun and back. Punat is a small tourist place that, above all, offers a break from the rush, stress and noise. It is extremely charming, gathered along small narrow streets that lead to typical seaside houses with vaults, balaturas and taverns. Punat is very proud of its tradition of olive growing: today it will be said of Punat that every family there cultivates its own olive grove and produces its own, very high quality, olive oil. Peace, recreation, spiritual refreshment on Košljun are the trump cards with which Punat invites its visitors. Those who respond, don't stop coming!
